Recently, China Weichai Group , a leading player in the equipment manufacturing industry, successfully passed the Euro VI certification of its engine products and became the first company in China to have passed the Euro VI certification. The Group passed the European VI certification, which is an important result of Weichai Group's intensive cultivation in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection over the years. The EU VI certification process is very strict. After the certification application was submitted, the accreditation officer of the British Department of Transportation came to Weichai Group to perform on-site inspection of the Weichai Group WP7 engine . The inspection is divided into two parts: witnessing experiment and factory approval inspection. Euro VI regulations are the most stringent emission regulations in the European Union. Compared to Euro IV and Euro V, Euro VI has adopted the WHTC, WHSC and NTE cycles. CO2, NH3, and particle counts have been added to the test content, adding to the testing items. DPF regeneration and nitrogen and oxygen control experiments, OBD testing is also more stringent. After scientific and rigorous inspections, Weichai Group has become the first company in China that has passed Euro VI emission and OBD certification.
