Chicago Executive Airport – Aircraft Emergency, 12/5/18
1967 Cessna 310N with unlocked front landing gear
Prospect Heights and Wheeling Fire Departments
 
The Cessna 310N, which had two people on board, circled for about 90 minutes to burn off excess fuel before landing. The pilot handled the situation with great skill, managing a safe landing without any injuries. The aircraft sustained only minor damage to the airframe.
