This report comes from Josh Boyajian:
The 14th Battalion on Chicago’s West Side received a call about a fire near the intersection of Pulaski and Ogden Avenues. Engine 38 and Truck 48 were the first to arrive around 05:44 AM and confirmed the presence of a fire, immediately requesting a Still & Box. The battalion arrived shortly after and reported heavy flames in a two-story, 50x125 commercial building. By 06:21 AM and 06:23 AM, the 2-11 and 3-11 alarms were activated. Firefighters deployed six master streams and four hand lines to contain and extinguish the blaze. At 08:02 AM, the 2-1-6 unit took over the 3-11 alarm. As of 11:30 AM, crews were still on scene, working to locate hot spots and perform overhaul. The building housed a music recording studio on the first floor and a banquet hall on the second.
