Full Still Alarm fire in Harvey, 3-30-14

Here's a message from Eric Haak:

I took a few quick photos from Harvey’s fire scene on Sunday afternoon. I wasn’t there for the full incident, but with the great lighting and clear skies, I thought I’d share a couple of shots. The first engine on the scene was Engine 33, which previously served Dixmoor. The fire started in the rear porches and produced a strong header. Firefighters did an excellent job containing the blaze to the lower level and preventing it from spreading into the attic or the rest of the occupied home.

These images give a sense of the intensity and professionalism of the response. It's always impressive to see how quickly crews can mobilize and work under pressure. The visibility of the engines and the ladder truck shows just how prepared they were for this type of incident. Thanks again to Eric for sharing these shots with the community.
