High-end equipment manufacturing industry plans five major breakthroughs

It is understood that the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” high-end equipment manufacturing development will select five major breakthroughs in direction, namely, aviation equipment, satellites and applications, rail transportation equipment, marine engineering equipment and intelligent manufacturing equipment.

Specifically, aviation equipment will focus on the development of key products for large-scale application in the market, focusing on accelerating the development of large-scale aircraft and vigorously developing a series of regional aircraft, general aircraft and helicopters.

Among them, we must focus on breakthroughs in engines, important airborne systems and key equipment, improve the specialized production capacity of large aerospace components, air traffic management systems and advanced site equipment, and establish an aviation industry system with sustainable development capabilities.

Especially for aero engines, the country plans to include them in major projects.

Wang Tianyi, a researcher at Orient Securities, believes that the inclusion of aero engines in major projects will be beneficial to the direct investment of state funds, thus forming a complete engine model lineage. "It is expected that China's aviation engines will achieve an average annual growth rate of over 20% in the next 10 years, and the market scale will reach 100 billion yuan in 2020."

In terms of satellites and applications, it will focus on strengthening the construction of space transportation systems, applied satellite systems, satellite ground systems, and satellite application systems, and accelerate the rapid development of the satellite industry based on our space facilities.

Smart manufacturing equipment will focus on the development of intelligent instrumentation and control systems, key basic components, high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment, major intelligent manufacturing equipment and other four major categories of products.

It is reported that the development and transformation of smart equipment and special satellite and application development have been implemented. Among them, the first batch of smart manufacturing equipment had 19 projects and the state subsidy fund was 950 million. It has officially started and the money has gone.

In order to support smart manufacturing equipment companies in expanding their markets, the country will allocate the first set of subsidy funds. The subsidy funds are as high as 25%-50% of the sales price of products.

As the other two important directions for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” high-end equipment manufacturing industry, related departments have also put forward specific requirements for rail transit equipment and marine engineering equipment.

For the five key areas, the relevant national departments will give full support. Specific support measures include tax exemption on imported components and materials for major technical equipment, and financial support from the Export-Import Bank.
