Development of rapid detection equipment for waste oil has important social significance

Recently, the project of “Development of Special Equipment for Low-field Nuclear Magnetic Responsive Testing of Waste Oil” passed the project verification.

With the emphasis on food safety, waste oil has naturally become the most taboo for people. Waste oil refers to all kinds of inferior oils that exist in daily life, such as recycled cooking oil, repeatedly used fried oil, poor quality pork, pig viscera, pigskin processing, oil produced after refining, and even greasy floating in sewers. Material or oil that has been subjected to simple processing and extraction. Once the waste oil flows into the table, there is a great danger.

However, there are not many instruments for the detection and rapid screening of waste oil, so it is urgent for us to develop a rapid screening instrument for waste oil. The "Low Field Nuclear Magnetic Rapid Detection Instrument for the Development of Special Instruments for Waste Oil" belongs to the "2011 Innovation Action Plan - Chemical Reagents and Scientific Instruments" research project, which is undertaken by the Institute of Food Science of Shanghai Municipality.

The project will be devoted to the development of rapid screening equipment for waste oil, with clear project objectives and reasonable overall technical solutions. It will not only have major scientific significance, but also have important social significance. The research and development of the project will effectively combat the flow of waste oil to the dining table to protect people's food safety.
