House fire in Des Plaines, 1-4-16

On Monday, January 4, 2016, the Des Plaines Fire Department responded to a house fire at 441 Dulles Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke coming from a split-level home. The incident was initially classified as a working fire and the alarm was upgraded to a Code 4, but the flames were already under control before additional units arrived on scene.
