These aerial platforms can handle a 750-pound tip load and deliver up to 1,250 GPM. They also include Smart Aerial technology, Soft-Touch controls, and corrosion-resistant components with a 25-year warranty. The second part of the squad consists of 18′ walk-in rescues built on the same Commander chassis. These units have a 60″ cab with a 24″ raised roof, accommodating six crew members. With over 600 cubic feet of storage space, they are designed for rapid response and rescue operations. The Chicago Fire Department is the second-largest in the U.S., with nearly 5,000 firefighters and paramedics operating from 98 stations.
