More from Danny Nelms on the former Peotone FPD squad for sale: A post shared about the vehicle for sale appeared on the Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus of America (SPAAMFAA), which provided a detailed history of the unit: This unit has a rich history, having served multiple departments over the years. The fact that it's now up for sale is exciting for collectors and fire apparatus enthusiasts alike. With its original 1984 Pierce Arrow chassis and several upgrades throughout the years, this truck is a true piece of fire department history. If you're interested in vintage fire equipment, this could be a rare opportunity to own a well-preserved piece of American firefighting heritage. borla exhaust cat back, magnaflow exhaust cat back ,flowmaster exhaust cat back, milltek exhaust cat back NINGBO YINZHOU M-OX AUTO PARTS , https://www.mountxin.com
Former Peotone FPD squad for sale (more)
Originally based in Ardmore, PA;
Â
ALF 700 TDA from Huber Heights, OH. A 1984 Pierce Arrow retractor/refurb, job number F1271.
Â
In 1995, the tractor was refurbed with an Ideal Beverage body and later upgraded again in 2000 by RPI before being sold to Peotone, IL.
Â
Before the current owner, it was used by a company called Qualified Spill Response, which went out of business. It’s likely that the current owner acquired it when the company shut down.
Â
Two apron shots were posted by Joel D. Bain.
Â
A tiller action shot and side profile from Garrett Buttelwerth.
Â
The last photo of ALF 700 comes from the William Schreiber collection.
Â
All photos were taken during its time of service in Huber Heights, OH.
