Skokie Tower 16 update

Following up on the previous posts and discussions about Skokie Tower 16, Jeff Rudolph recently captured some new images of the truck and shared them with us. As he mentioned before, Tower 16 is still not in service. I’ve included his photos below so you can get a closer look at this impressive vehicle. The first image shows the full profile of Skokie Tower 16, a 1995/2011 Pierce Lance model equipped with a 1500/250 pump and a 100-foot aerial ladder. The truck looks as impressive as ever, maintaining its classic design while embodying modern firefighting capabilities. This photo was taken by Jeff Rudolph, who has been closely following the progress of this apparatus. Another interesting detail is the new decal installed at the base of the tower ladder. You can see it clearly in the second photo. It’s a subtle but noticeable update that adds a fresh touch to an otherwise timeless piece of equipment. Again, Jeff was kind enough to provide this shot, allowing us a glimpse into the details that make this fire engine unique. It's always exciting to see how these vehicles evolve over time, especially when they remain such an integral part of the community they serve. While we wait for Tower 16 to officially go into service, these photos give us a chance to appreciate the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into every aspect of their creation. Thanks to Jeff for sharing his work and keeping us updated!
