Working fire in Cicero, 12-8-16
From Tim Olk's report:
When we arrived at the scene of the house fire on 59th Avenue, there was heavy smoke everywhere. The first responding teams found that the fire had already spread to the second floor. It was quite intense. During the operation, some sudden gusts of wind caused one of our ladders to topple over. Unfortunately, a firefighter who was on the ladder got injured in the process. We immediately transported him to the hospital, but his current condition remains unclear.

The fire was fierce, with thick plumes of smoke billowing out of the building. You can see how challenging it was for our team to handle such an intense situation.

Our firefighters were working under tough conditions, battling the flames while dealing with unpredictable weather. Despite the difficulties, they remained focused on containing the fire.

Here you can see a firefighter positioned on the roof, dealing with smoke and flames. The teamwork and dedication were truly inspiring.

As the fire raged on, our team had to make quick decisions to control the situation. Venting the roof became necessary to release the pressure and smoke buildup.

In these moments, the firefighters' commitment to their duty is evident. They faced numerous challenges but continued to push forward.

The firefighting effort required constant vigilance and cooperation. Each member played a vital role in bringing this dangerous situation under control.

Overall, it was a difficult day, but our team managed to contain the fire and prevent further damage. The injured firefighter is in our thoughts, and we hope for a speedy recovery.
