It is understood that in recent years, the world's major paint companies have developed environmentally friendly products that save resources and energy, non-polluting waterborne coatings, high solids coatings, powder coatings and other environmentally friendly products, waterborne acrylic latex paint is even more optimistic by the paint businesses in various countries. At present, there are only a few acrylic latex paint manufacturers in China with a capacity of over 10,000 tons/year, and the vast majority are low-grade products; while the prices of imported high-grade paints are generally more than 5 times that of domestic products.
Based on this reality, after years of exploration, Beijing University of Chemical Technology has finally mastered the key process formulas and technologies. The high-grade acrylic latex paint products produced have the advantages of good decorative effect, strong water resistance, and good aging resistance, and can be widely used. Indoor and outdoor decoration in various environments. At the same time, since the process uses water as a dispersion medium, there is no environmental pollution during the production and construction phases, and its market price also has obvious advantages over imported products, with significant economic and social benefits.
According to experts from the Chemical Technology and Environmental Protection Beijing Technology Transfer Center, the technology is the addition of new nanomaterials in acrylic paints—no photocatalysts with limited light source, and the resulting products can be used in addition to antibacterial and anti-mildew, air purification, and long-term release of negative ions. , Also has good hiding power, soft color, fine touch characteristics and excellent water resistance, stain resistance and aging resistance, and non-toxic and tasteless, does not contain heavy metal ions and radioactive substances. In addition, due to the addition of special nanomaterials in the production process, the film forming performance of the functional acrylic latex coating is significantly improved, and the flexibility and scrub resistance of the product are greatly improved. After the product is formed into a film, it will not cause cracking, peeling, peeling, and powder removal due to changes in the ambient temperature and humidity.
