2. The Ministry of Customs and Excise Department shall conduct drilling operations in time and carry out on-the-spot detection in advance. During the construction drilling, the inspectors of the tile shall, in addition to the normal working surface, be responsible for the concentration of toxic and harmful gases such as gas and carbon monoxide in the drilling port. If there is no abnormality after 30 minutes of continuous observation, the production can be resumed at the working surface. Temporary wind barriers shall be set up at the passing points as soon as possible to restore the airflow to normal. During the period, the number of gas inspections must be increased, and abnormalities are immediately removed.

(3) If the amount of return air decreases, stagnate, and reverse after the penetration, it indicates that the air leakage is serious in the old road. At this time, the air volume of the heading face must be continuously monitored, and a temporary wind barrier should be set at the through point to reduce the air leakage to maintain the normal air volume of the working face. Prevent harmful gases such as gas from exceeding the limit.

7. Measures to prevent gas, spontaneous combustion, and prevention of coal dust in the old lane:

(1) Staffing: During the old lane, the roadway must be equipped with a full-time tile inspector to check the gas concentration, coal dust, and spontaneous combustion.
