Jiaoda University RFID Machinery won the Intel University Student Design Competition

On the afternoon of the 22nd, the 2014 Intel Cup Student Electronic Design Competition Embedded System Special Invitational Awards Ceremony was held in Shanghai with the theme of “Core for Excellence, Creating the Future”.

The "Spiritual Somatosensory Double Balanced Anti-Spy System" project designed by the students of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology won the Intel Cup Award, the "Smart Flight Traffic Police" designed by Shanghai Fudan University students and the "RFID-based indoor design designed by Shanghai Jiaotong University". The reverse positioning mechanical car" won the first prize.

The three students of the Shanghai Jiaotong University RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) automatic positioning machine team were inspired by the radar scan: the reader with the rotating antenna was mounted on the automatic car to position the free-riding car.

Xu Guozhi, a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, who is the secretary general of the organizing committee of this competition, said that this competition is mainly to cultivate students' sense of innovation and encourage everyone to innovate. The prize-winning projects designed by the students, such as the “RFID-based indoor reverse positioning mechanical vehicle” and “smart flight small traffic police”, which are awarded the first prize, are closely following the pulse of the times. He hopes that the students will combine theory and practice and design better projects in the future.

It is reported that the invitational tournament was co-sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Personnel and Education Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
