Yesterday, the newspaper was exclusively informed that in order to refine and implement the “12th Five-Year Plan” for electric vehicles, the Ministry of Science and Technology will publish the “Guidelines for the Integration of Key Technologies and Systems for Electric Vehicles” as soon as possible.

According to informed sources, the reporter revealed that by 2012, the Ministry of Science and Technology was included in the direction of the key projects for electric vehicles in 31 directions, divided into 74 topics. The total project funding is 738 million yuan. The specific source of funding is the Ministry of Finance.

According to the source, the "12th Five-Year Plan" for the development of electric vehicle science and technology, led by the Ministry of Science and Technology, has been finalized and has passed expert review. "Planning" determines that when China promotes the development of the electric vehicle industry chain, it will use power batteries, motors, and electric control as the core of future development. In the forthcoming Application Guide for Key Technologies and Systems Integration of Electric Vehicles, the proportion of each major core development is specified.

According to the authoritative sources, the proportion of research projects on the whole vehicle and power of electric vehicles accounted for 33% of the total project; battery technology projects accounted for 42%; motor projects accounted for 13%, and electronic control technology projects accounted for 6%.
