1. The pump is a fundamental equipment for exhausting sealed vessels. It can be used independently as a main pump or as a forepump for booster, diffusion, and molecular pumps. It can also act as a holding pump or pre-pump in a vacuum system. It is ideal for laboratory applications due to its small size, light weight, and quiet operation.

2. The pump can operate continuously under atmospheric temperatures of 5°C to 40°C, with intake pressure below 1230 Pa. If the gas contains more than 90% humidity, the gas-ballast valve should be opened.

3. The pump must not run for more than one minute when the inlet port is fully open to the atmosphere.

4. Not suitable for pumping oxidized, toxic, explosive, or corrosive gases, or gases that react chemically with the pump oil or contain dust particles.
