New brush unit for Momence FPD

From the Momence Fire Protection District Facebook page:

We're excited to introduce our brand-new Brush 95! The Momence Fire Department officially received the new brush truck on Saturday, October 21st. This state-of-the-art unit was built by 1st Attack Engineering Inc. in Indiana. The vehicle is a 2017 Ford F-550 equipped with a 300-gallon water tank and a 350-GPM Darley fire pump. It also features dual man-wells behind the cab, front spray nozzles, and improved safety design.

This new brush truck replaces an older Chevy 3500 that had been in service for nearly 20 years. The previous model had a 250-gallon water tank and a 200-GPM fire pump, making this upgrade a significant step forward in performance and safety.

Brush 95 meets all current NFPA standards for wildland and brush firefighting. Additional features include higher ground clearance, Rigid scene lighting, a 5-gallon foam cell with a Scotty inductor, and well-lit storage compartments. These upgrades ensure better visibility, efficiency, and protection for firefighters during operations.
