3-Alarm fire in Ingleside, 1-1-18
On New Year’s Day, at around 3:00 a.m., the Fox Lake Fire Protection District (FPD) responded to a severe house fire on North Christa Drive in Ingleside. The incident, which occurred in an area without fire hydrants, required a third-alarm response due to the intensity and rapid spread of the flames. Firefighters from multiple departments, including the Greater Round Lake FPD, rushed to the scene to contain the blaze and ensure the safety of nearby residents.
The fire quickly engulfed the structure, leaving it severely damaged and partially destroyed. Local firefighters worked tirelessly, using water tankers to supply the necessary resources for extinguishing the fire. The scene was chaotic, with emergency crews working under challenging conditions to prevent the fire from spreading further.
