Sonardyne Asia Pte Ltd will launch Automatic Leak Detection Sonar (ALDS) at the upcoming Singapore International Oil & Gas Technology Exhibition.
Automatic leak detection sonar is designed to continuously and automatically monitor and locate oil and gas leaks below 1 barrel per day and water depths over 500 meters while eliminating false alarms that may trigger false alarms.
Sonardyne's automatic leak detection sonar is designed to continuously monitor leaks in 1 billion cubic feet of water around the oil and gas assets on the ocean floor. The sonar can achieve 360-degree coverage, and the leak rate that can be monitored is less than 1 barrel per day and the water depth exceeds 500 meters.
Sonardyne will also showcase its autonomous monitoring transponder (AMT) and GyroUSBL underwater acoustic positioning system at the show. The autonomous monitoring transponder is designed to ensure that the Lodestar GyroUSBL underwater acoustic positioning system requires initial calibration, large savings in shipping time and operating costs, and extended data collection.
